ACF Supports Need for Change in Governance of USA Cricket

The American Cricket Federation congratulates the ICC on the progress it has made to-date in developing a relevant basis of governance for USA cricket. Similar to the great majority of USA cricket stakeholders, ACF looks forward to sight and detailed reading of the revised draft constitution just presented to USACA. See:
ACF notes that the voting deadline for USACA members to adopt the proposed Constitution is defined as April 1, 2017, and is aware of at least one urgent request by a league to its members; to vote to join USACA. The request references incentives for joining, etc., but without any mention of the April 1st voting deadline.
ACF strongly recommends all leagues and their club members await the outcome of the April 1st vote, which will help define the nature and integrity of USA cricket governance, besides the process for appointing or electing those to hold office in the future.
