ACF Announce Interim Election Results – Jagannathan and Suraweera Elected to ACF Board

Following the closure of balloting last night, the American Cricket Federation is pleased to announce the following election results, as confirmed today by the independent review of Dr. G. E. Whittenburg, CPA, University Senate Distinguished Professor, Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy, San Diego State University.

Mr. Jagan Jagannathan was re-elected unopposed to the post of Board Director-at-Large. He was the first of ACF’s Board to retire in rotation as proscribed by term limits in ACF’s Constitution. Being eligible, he offered himself for re-election. Directors-at-Large of the ACF are elected by the vote of all eligible Club Members and Individual Player Members.

Mr. Shantha Suraweera was unanimously elected as an ACF Board Director representing Zone 1 (West) Hardball Leagues. ACF Zonal Board Directors of the ACF are elected by the vote of all eligible Hardball League Members resident in the respective Zone.

Messrs. Jagannathan and Suraweera are congratulated on their success.
