ACF and Silicon Valley Stallions Launch Corporate T20

Silicon Valley Stallions in conjunction with the American Cricket Federation (ACF) are pleased to announce the First Annual Corporate T20 Cricket Championship over the Veteran’s Day Weekend in Morgan Hill, California, just south of San Jose. All matches will be played at the Morgan Hill Sports Complex which boasts two dedicated cricket fields that are ideal for this T20 tournament.

The inaugural tournament event will be held from November 10 – 12, 2017 and hopes to attract corporate teams from within the Silicon Valley area as well as outside. Corporations may enter more than one team and the registration fee is $1000 per team, with a registration deadline of October 2, 2017.

Cricket is a very active and growing sport within many companies across the country, particularly in the Silicon Valley area where it is informally and formally played by hundreds of cricketers in leading tech companies.

According to Silicon Valley Stallion’s Prem Suri “This tournament gives a unique opportunity for cricketers to represent their company in matching their cricketing skills against their peers in other companies. It also creates opportunities for new enthusiasts to find out about the sport and learn it, with the intention of proudly representing their company.”

ACF’s Jagan Jagannathan, who is excited about ACF co-sponsoring the tournament with Silicon Valley Stallions, added: “ACF is fully committed to ensuring that cricketers get more opportunities to play and new enthusiasts are welcomed to the sport so that interest in cricket broadens beyond the expat communities. Corporate Cricket is a great way to do this and to spread the sport over and beyond traditional leagues.”

Teams are invited to register at
