The American Cricket Federation’s vision is to make cricket a truly national sport. This includes a responsibility to provide for coach education to ensure that individuals are able to meet ACF standards, as well as national high school and collegiate requirements.

For a limited time, coaches may apply to have their existing certifications accepted for ACF certification credit at absolutely no cost, which will allow ACF to begin placing certified coaches in positions throughout the country. ACF is also pleased to announce its first Level 1 coaching course to be held in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 15. ACF member club the Fort Wayne Warriors, a women’s team, will host the session. The session fee is $100 per person, and interested persons are asked to contact Ajay Lakhe by email at ajaylakhe@gmail.com or by phone at 860-830-7861.

Thirty registrations have already been received, so don’t delay.

Jatin Patel said, “This is a great opportunity for the participants to become new coaches with ACF, while they learn more about the game and it also helps ACF’s vision to develop more homegrown coaches.

“Women coaches at the youth level can also make a huge difference as there are not many female coaches in USA and this can be an encouragement to others.”
